Eli Schultz is a senior at Grand Junction High School and the Editor in Chief for the Orange & Black. He is a varsity football player for GJHS. He joined the Orange & Black his freshmen year.

The GJHS baseball team charges out to take the field in a preseason game at Suplizio Field. Three Tigers baseball players, sophomore Andrew Henderson, senior Brett Woytek and junior Will Applegate, talk before Woytek starts pitching. The Tigers open play in the Class 4A state playoffs on Saturday in a four-team regional at Windsor High School.
