On Friday, Sept. 26, the GJHS homecoming parade took place in downtown. This featured floats from sports and clubs like the Boys Golf team and the Student Council.

Ashlyn Baker is a sophomore at GJHS. She is the promotions manager for the Orange and Black Newspaper. She loves reading, writing, and plays volleyball. She joined the second semester of the 2024-25 school year and is looking forward to being part of the staff again.

Mason Strippel is a junior. He is part of the Orange and Black Newspaper. He likes to play basketball, video games, and mountain hiking. He is also part of the TRIO Upward Bound program. He joined the Orange and Black Newspaper during his sophomore year.
