New GJHS school has been canceled and the old school will remain as it is.
After last year’s mice scandal, GJHS school found itself in hot water but luckily it was able to get out of this pickle by getting a new principal and doing a ukulele apology video.
However, the school dips its toe in controversy again because we’re staying put. The school came out on its official website and said that because we haven’t had reports of mice sightings in over two months, GJHS students can no longer expect to move to the new building in the 2024-25 school year.
To get more information we went to several sources within the staff.
“Please stop coming to me for quotes,” said Michelle Davis, science teacher at Grand Junction High School.
“It’s simply the fact that we have the smartest people in the world at the school and due to recent studies we have proven that students perform poorly in modern, safe environments,” said the GJHS principal who asked to remain anonymous.
This statement added even more to the fire and other schools are disgusted with this statement.
“This is why that trash Junction shouldn’t have gotten that new school we knew it would just go to waste,” said an anonymous student from another school in the valley.
Ratman even came out of hiding to give his opinion on the new school being canceled.
“Honestly I think it’s a good thing, we’ll take the new building. I mean that the whole rat problem at the beginning of the year is still going on. We’re just a lot more quiet about it,” said Ratman, ruler of the rats of GJHS.
No mice have been seen in a few months and additionally a sink has yet to fall off the wall in the girls’ bathroom for the past three days so students should be fine in this old building. We ball.
