As of recently, this glass mural has been taken out of the school and been replaced with regular clear glass. This stained glass mural will be placed into the new school as well.

Construction continues on the new three-story GHS building. Students and staff are now able to start to see the basic shape of the building come together. The building is set to be finished in time for classes Fall of 2024

GJHS sophomore Eziah Morales dives for extra yardage during the season-opening victory over Rifle. The Tigers dominated on offense and defense in the 48-0 victory.

Senior Albert Booth runs the 4x800 relay before state, to get the qualifying time. Booth teamed up with senior Tycen LeFebre, junior Bryce Flanagan and junior Connor Kinser to finish 11th at the state meet held May 14-16.

The GJHS baseball team charges out to take the field in a preseason game at Suplizio Field. Three Tigers baseball players, sophomore Andrew Henderson, senior Brett Woytek and junior Will Applegate, talk before Woytek starts pitching.
The Tigers open play in the Class 4A state playoffs on Saturday in a four-team regional at Windsor High School.

GJHS baseball heads to state

Sydni Brandon coached the Grand Junction High School girls basketball team for two seasons. She is being replaced by 12-year Central High School coach Mary Doane, who will also teach business classes at GJHS.
