This years 2019 X-Games had one of the biggest turn outs up to date. Despite the freezing cold temperatures, in the single digits, everyone was thrilled to be there.

Music performaces included: Lil Wayne, Chainsmokers, Kygo, and Louis the Child. Many of the concerts were completely sold out with crowds of 5,000 people. Lil Wayne played some of this throwbacks and a tribute to XXXTentacion, singing “Don’t Cry.”

The event side of the X-Games included riders throwing down new stylish tricks. Mark Mcmorris won the snowboarding slope style, making this his 7th X-games gold medal.

A crowd favorite, Chloe Kim, took first in the women’s snowboard super pipe. Chloe is only 18 years old and last year she earned the record for the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold.

The X-Games are a truly amazing event and with Aspen only being less than two hours away, it makes for a great weekend trip for anyone who likes enjoying good music and the thrills of extreme free style on the slopes.
