This will be the new main entrance to Grand Junction High School, coming straight from the student parking lot. The attendance office is located on the right and a two-door system for security. As construction continues on the building the Orange & Black staff got to have a look on the inside. The new building features three floors, with better quality classrooms, and more common space for people to relax in and around during release and lunch periods. These improvements come with a price tag of $144.5 million for the building. It is projected to be completed in time for school to start August 2024. I think it looks pretty cool considering that it’s designed to be modern, but I think it would look even better if it was retro-modern, if anyone knows what that means.
