Student of the Month
Kiwanis Student of the month, Royana Crawford has earned her spot through hard work and dedication this October.
It’s a real honor to be student of the month, according to Royana Crawford, senior.
“I just try to do my best in everything that I do and try to keep good grades and make people feel like they’re in a community,” Crawford, said.
This award is given out to students who strive to be excellent and are kind to others. Teachers nominate students who excel expectations and help weave a creative learning atmosphere where everyone can feel included.
“I try to be a leader by doing what I think is right and make people’s overall high school experience better,” Crawford, said.
Student of the Month means something different to everyone but Royanna Crawford humbly shows through her interview that this award was awarded to her because of her dedication and concern for her fellow students’ well being.
