Masonic Art Awards
Abram Sanchez is a junior at GJHS. Sanchez does a lot at GJHS which includes being on the Varsity soccer team for the last 3 years. Sanchez was awarded first team all conference twice, and second team all state once. Sanchez has been the top scorer in the league the past two years, along with being in the National Honor Society.
The Masonic award is an Art award that is given to one female and one male in high school for showing excellence in school and art work. This year Tia Sewell and Sanchez received this accomplishment.
“I feel like it’s an honor to be recognized for hard work and accomplishment by such a high esteemed establishment like the masons,” Abram Sanchez, junior, said.
This award is very prestigious and winning this award is a very big accomplishment for these students. Sanchez is one of the top students in his class at GJHS, and is well deserving of this award. Even with everything Sanchez does at GJHS, he has managed to obtain a 4.0 GPA and above.
“I guess just by doing the best I could and being determined to succeed,” Sanchez said.
