Grand Junction High School will be hosting their first annual capstone night.
Capstone Night is a chance for students to present and celebrate the project that was created during their time in the capstone program this year.
“Here at GJHS, the students that have joined Capstone programs are going to highlight the good parts of the project that they created over the year. The night is also for letting students to look at it and think about joining a Capstone program in the future,” said GJHS English teacher Andrew Hansen.
The night will start in the commons to get everybody ready. The presentations will be separated into multiple rooms on the first floor. During the presentations food and drinks will be available for the students and parents. At the end of the night will be an opportunity for the students to ask questions.
“Capstone Night is supposed to be about how students get to present their project that they made. It’s important to have this night so their parents can see what they’ve been up to. I also think it’s important for the students that created this project and that they get to show it the parents and other students,” said GJHS junior Cassidy Posta.
The Capstone Night will be at GJHS May 5th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
