The Grand Junction High School choir is bringing cheer to all in their 26th annual Holiday Extravaganza, taking place at Nazarene Church.
“For preparations, we do a lot of sight reading and repetition. It’s fun, though, because Mr. Hirsh (the choir director of Grand Junction) makes it enjoyable,” said GJHS sophomore Kaylee Sawyer, a member of the mixed choir.
The event centers around the well-practiced and admirable vocals of the choir, but an added bonus are desserts and hot beverages offered to the audience while watching.
“You can look forward to our concerts because everyone is happy and put in a lot of hard work. It definitely pays off,” said Sawyer.
On Dec. 12 and 13 at 7 p.m., and Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., people of all ages are welcome to enjoy the festivities by purchasing tickets online at https://grandjunctionchoirs.square.site/ or by email at [email protected] at least 30 minutes before the show. The church is located at 2802 Patterson Road.
