FBLA competed in Districts on Jan. 30th. FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America. A total of 9 GJHS students placed and qualified for State.
GJHS students that did well at districts then have the opportunity to compete at state. State takes place on April 1st-3rd Denver.
“Everyone that we took did well and they are all going to state,” said FBLA advisor Susan Dunlap.
GJHS students that placed first are sophomore Aidan Innis and senior Taytin Knoblich. Innis competed in Introduction to Business Presentation while Knoblich competed in Personal Finance.
“The best part of my presentation was really developing the solutions to business failure because I really understood the most about it,” said Innis. “Business over all is what I want to go into in the future so having this business knowledge will end up benefiting me.”
