Color Dance Preview
The color dance is our first dance of the year, meant to help students reconnect with their old friends and make new ones.
The dance is tonight Friday, August 23 starting at 7 p.m. and lasting till 10:45 p.m. According to ALT advisor Russell Gregory, the dance is a chance to make memories and be apart of our school spirit.
“It’s one of the most fun dances of the year- it’s very unique compared to the other dances, it’s informal, and who doesn’t like to throw color everywhere?” senior ALT leader Summer Seacrest said.
According to Gregory the color dance was created to give all students a chance to come to a dance that is affordable and fun. It is not only the first dance of the year, but also the first event of the school year, that aims to kick off the 2019-20 year with a fresh, positive start.
The dance will be held in front of the band field. Be sure to wear white, bring $10 for admission and remember your Student I.D.
Concessions will be selling water, gatorade, colored powder and more so bring some extra cash.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Grand Junction High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
