Winter Assembly
The homecoming assembly that was cancelled from a lock down was made up Wednesday, January 16 in the gym. Students showed school spirit and expressed appreciation for the Seniors. During the assembly, the seniors performed the ‘Senior Run’ and they were cheered on by younger classmen.
Student Council also presented their events, such as the hungry-hungry hippo activity that involved two participants from each high school class and the pie eating contest. Cheer and Band also entertained the crowd with stunts and music. Students this year showed more appreciation for this year’s assembly.
“It was way better than last year,” Aubree Bergg, sophomore, said.
According to Bergg, she looks forward to seeing more teacher appreciation in future assemblies.
“It was pretty fun, one of the better assemblies,” Blaine Butler, sophmores said.
Butler suggested more student involvement and better choice of music.
Students have agreed over all this was a better assembly and wish to see more student involvement and more school spirit.
