Senior Wrestlers: Seth Latham
-Off to College
“I already signed with CMU for a scholarship and I’ll be trying to win a D2 title. This is also what keeps me motivated to do my best- my scholarship.”
-Things get easier
“Since I’ve started wrestling, things have started to come easier to me. Wrestling is tough, so it makes school easier, and pretty much everything else comes easier.”
-Overcoming rankings
“I’ve been seeded in a lot of tournaments lower than what I place, so proving them wrong and that I’m better than the kid they think is going to win, or better than the kid that’s ranked above me is a lot of fun. It shows that rankings don’t really matter.”
-Getting over a loss
“The biggest challenge that I’ve had to overcome I’d say is getting 4th at state back-to–back years. I am overcoming it by going harder in practice and busting my butt more than I did last year.”
-What’s there to like?
“I am a hard worker for sure. When I’m at a tournament, I do what I need to do and get it done. My team can count on me to bring my best, and I can also count on myself.”
