Here at GJHS our parking lot has a serious littering problem. Black spots of chewed gum, fast food wrappers, cups of filled drinks, chewed tobacco, and even condom wrappers. It’s time to step up our game and be responsible for our privileges.

“Yeah, I do think we have a littering problem, but then again there’s really is no way to stop it.” said, Skylar Meastas, 11.

With many cars in the parking lot it’s is hard to control all the littering. But, little by little we can try to make a difference.

“I think we can make a difference but it will take time with, trying to have all the students cooperate.” Meastas said.

As a school let’s push ourselves to pick up our litter and make our school look impressible and clean.
Our parking lot is a privilege to us that we need to take care of.

“I do contribute on picking my trash and throwing it away, instead of just throwing it anywhere.” said, Meastas. \

Instead of leaving your half-filled cup next to some car, pick it up and throw it away instead of leaving it.

Let’s look good for our community and start to take responsibility and start to pick up after ourselves. By picking up our trash we can make our school not only look nice but also have good, mature impression to whoever may visit our school. After all, we are not some wild animals like the some of students over at FMHS.
